Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an experienced Investment Products Advisor to manage wealth revenue and provide unbiased product briefings to the Sales Team and customers. You will cross-promote portfolios and coach sales staff to deepen client relationships, while upholding regulatory requirements and bank policies.

The role requires deep knowledge of investment products, strong presentation skills, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to meet customers’ financial goals.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in investment product advisory.
• Understanding of mutual funds, structured products and other treasury products.
• Confident with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Independent, self-motivated with strong sense of urgency.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and drive wealth revenue for Investment Products by assisting on Client Events, Tea Talks, Joint Sales Calls and giving unbiased product briefing to the Sales Team/Customers as and when required;
• Provision of expertise and advisory to Sales Representatives and Customers on wealth related products;
• Cross promote to grow key product portfolios;
• Coaching of Sales Representatives on key features in Investment Products;
• Enhance customer's overall investment experience by providing unbiased specialized expertise/views required in managing wealth related products;
• Understand customers financial profile and needs to develop investment strategies to address and meets customers financial goals;
• Adherence to Bank's internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements including compliance with related laws/Acts.

Job Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in investment product advisory. Prior industry experience in asset management or treasury are preferred
• Demonstrate an understanding of financial markets and investment products like mutual fund, structured products and other treasury products
• Confident with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Independent, self-motivated with strong sense of urgency
• Quick learner with good problem-solving and analytical skills
