Job summary

CIMB Bank Berhad is seeking a Vice President of Credit Risk in the second line of defence to manage non-retail credit risk across portfolios. You will oversee underwriting, approvals, and portfolio reviews, applying Rating Methodology, EWI, RAC, and JDA Framework within the Board-approved risk posture. Engage with audits and regulators as needed.

The role demands strong leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, and stakeholder collaboration to maintain asset quality in a dynamic market environment.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive non-retail credit risk experience at senior/leadership level.
• Experience in underwriting, approvals, and portfolio reviews aligned with risk appetite.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements governing credit risk.

• Ensure robust underwriting, approval, and portfolio review processes.
