Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Visual Merchandising Manager to lead strategy and execution for a prestigious luxury beauty brand across Malaysia. You will translate global concepts into locally impactful displays, manage launches and events, and ensure consistent VM standards across stores and partners.

Ideally, you have 8+ years in luxury beauty retail, proven leadership, and strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of visual merchandising experience in luxury, beauty, or retail.
• Proven leadership and project management experience.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of consumer behavior.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the visual merchandising strategy across the Malaysia market.
• Adapt global creative concepts into commercially effective local executions.
• Manage seasonal launches, events, store openings, and promotional activations.
• Ensure consistent VM standards across boutiques, department stores, and retail partners.
• Partner with Retail, Marketing, PR, and Product teams on key campaigns.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost optimization, and expenditure tracking.
• Monitor execution quality through audits, store visits, and performance reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop the VM team while managing agencies and suppliers.
