Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Virtual Factory Engineer in Malaysia to develop, support, and optimize Virtual Factory systems across multiple manufacturing sites. You will collaborate with sister plants in Shanghai, contract manufacturers, and internal teams to drive data-driven improvements in productivity and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in semiconductor manufacturing or related automation.
• Experience with global manufacturing teams or contract manufacturers is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SIP and SSD manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Virtual Factory systems across sites.
• Collaborate with sister plants to standardize Virtual Factory solutions.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing performance using real-time data.
• Drive digital transformation with MES, IIoT, and smart manufacturing.
• Design dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for decision making.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate upgrades and change management with minimal disruption.
• Support continuous improvement across Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, IT.
