PickleME is a Kuala Lumpur-based events and marketing agency specialising in pickleball, sports and lifestyle experiences. We bring brands and communities together through tournaments, brand activations, international athlete tours and creative content across Malaysia and beyond.

We're looking for a creative, hands-on videographer cum editor who can brainstorm ideas, organise shoots, capture the action and turn it into engaging content.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating videography and editing work.
• Proficiency in CapCut is required; experience with other editors is a plus.
• Experience creating social-video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Ability to plan shoots, coordinate with teams and deliver on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm ideas and plan shoots with the team.
• Capture video on-site, set up lighting/audio, and direct interviews if needed.
• Edit footage into engaging videos with music, color correction, and captions.
• Create platform-optimized cuts for social media, including reels and shorts.
• Organize footage and manage project files.

Videographer cum Video Editor- PickleME

About PickleME

PickleME is a Kuala Lumpur-based events and marketing agency specialising in pickleball, sports and lifestyle experiences. We bring brands and communities together through tournaments, brand activations, international athlete tours and creative content across Malaysia and beyond.

We're looking for a creative, hands-on videographer cum editor who can brainstorm ideas, organise shoots, capture the action and turn it into engaging content.

What You'll Work On

• Pickleball Product Reviews: Shoot and edit reviews, demos and comparisons of paddles, apparel and accessories.

• Pickleball Event Coverage: Capture tournaments, athlete appearances and brand activations, including match highlights, interviews and behind-the-scenes moments.

• Pre-Event Videos: Create teasers, promotional videos and countdown content to build excitement and encourage sign-ups.

• Pickleball Tutorials: Work with players and coaches to produce tips, drills and instructional videos.

• Court Reviews: Showcase pickleball venues, facilities and the overall playing experience.

• Other Sports Events: Shoot and edit sports and lifestyle events beyond pickleball.

• Social Media Content: Create Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, community stories, trend-based content and brand collaborations.

Your Responsibilities

• Brainstorm fresh video ideas and contribute to content discussions with our creative, social media and events teams.

• Take ownership of content planning for shoots, including topics, concepts, scripts, interview questions, storyboards and shot lists.

• Organise filming schedules and coordinate with players, coaches, venues and teammates to ensure each shoot is well prepared.

• Handle camera, lighting and audio setup during filming.

• Edit videos with suitable music, sound design, colour correction, subtitles and basic motion graphics.

• Adapt videos for different platforms and deliver quick event highlights when required.

• Use AI tools to support brainstorming, scripting, captioning and editing, while checking the quality and accuracy of the final content.

• Organise footage and project files, maintain backups and take care of filming equipment.

• Manage multiple shoots and editing deadlines, and incorporate team and client feedback.

What We're Looking For

• A portfolio showcasing your videography and video editing skills.

• Proficiency in CapCut, with experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro an advantage.

• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, such as ChatGPT, CapCut's AI features and other AI-assisted video or design tools.

• A good eye for framing, storytelling, pacing and capturing live action.

• An understanding of social media trends, strong opening hooks and engaging short-form content.

• Confidence in contributing ideas and taking a video from initial concept through to final delivery.

• Strong planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail.

• A proactive, reliable attitude and the ability to work independently and with a team.

• Willingness to learn new tools, travel and work occasional evenings or weekends for events.

• An interest in sports is a plus - you don't need to be a pickleball expert!
