Job summary

Falcon Gallery in Klang Valley is seeking a dynamic social media content creator to shoot and edit automotive footage, manage posting across platforms, and help drive enquiries for showrooms.

You will craft engaging scripts, light showroom spaces, and create thumbnails, with full control over the channel's creative direction. Vehicle passion and camera skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience running and growing a social media account.
• Confident on camera and with a gimbal, able to light showroom corners and capture clean audio.
• Proficient in DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or Premiere.
• Genuine interest in cars and social media; understands shot variety for different cars.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Own transport; based in Ampang; willing to travel for off-site shoots.

Responsibilities

• Shoot walkarounds, detail shots, interiors and rolling footage in a range of styles.
• Record audio on location including cold starts and engine notes.
• Cover new arrivals, deliveries, car meets and events.
• Edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook; longer pieces for YouTube.
• Design cover frames, thumbnails and supporting graphics.
• Pitch ideas and write scripts.
• Post and schedule across all channels.
• Keep footage library organized and accessible.
• Review performance and adapt content based on audience response.

Job description

Generally a mix of three things: shooting, editing, and brainstorming and scriptwriting. You'll be behind the camera, in the edit and running the accounts day to day.

At its core this is a marketing and social media role which centres around filming and editing; the objective is to build an engaged audience and convert that attention into enquiries for the showroom.

An in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry is welcome but not essential. We are equally interested in candidates who know the market well and in those approaching it fresh. What we value more is the genuine interest and the ability to contribute ideas, develop concepts and write scripts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shoot walkarounds, detail shots, interiors and rolling footage, working across a range of shooting styles
• Record audio on location - cold starts, revs and exhaust notes
• Cover new arrivals, customer deliveries, car meets and events
• Edit short-form vertical content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and longer-form pieces for YouTube
• Design cover frames, thumbnails and supporting graphics
• Pitch ideas and write scripts
• Post and schedule across all channels
• Keep the footage library organised and easy to work from
• Review performance and adapt what we make based on what lands

About you

• Experience running and growing a social media account - yours or someone else's
• Confident on a camera and gimbal. You should be able to light a dark showroom corner and get clean audio next to a running engine
• Fluent in DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or Premiere
• A real interest in cars and social media - Understanding different style of shots for different cars
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Own transport (Based in Ampang - occasional off site work)
• Available Monday to Saturday
