Job summary

Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia PPIM invites applications for a 6-month video editing internship in our Multimedia and Creative Arts team. You will edit content for social platforms, assemble footage, and create subtitles in Malay and English while following branding guidelines.

We seek students or graduates in Multimedia, Film, or related fields with English communication skills and basic Premiere Pro knowledge.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Diploma/Degree in Multimedia, Film, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (Required).
• Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects is an advantage.
• Good sense of storytelling and visual composition.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in editing video content for the organization’s digital platforms, including social media, website, and internal communications.
• Edit simple interview and achievement videos based on provided storyboard or editing guidelines.
• Assemble raw footage into polished videos with appropriate transitions, music, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
• Create social media content in various formats (Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts).
• Prepare subtitles (Malay & English) and simple on-screen graphics when required.
• Ensure all edited content follows the organization’s branding and visual identity guidelines.
• Revise video edits based on feedback from the Team Lead or Marketing team.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
