Job summary

Pertubuhan Peduli Insan Malaysia is seeking a video editing intern to join our multimedia and creative arts team for 6 months. You will edit video content for social media, websites, and internal communications, producing polished videos with basic motion graphics and subtitles.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Diploma/Degree in Multimedia or related fields, with strong English communication and basic Premiere Pro skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Diploma/Degree in Multimedia, Film, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (Required).
• Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in editing video content for the organization's digital platforms, including social media, website, and internal communications.
• Edit simple interview and achievement videos based on provided storyboard or editing guidelines.
• Assemble raw footage into polished videos with appropriate transitions, music, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
• Create social media content in various formats (Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts).
• Prepare subtitles (Malay & English) and simple on-screen graphics when required.
• Ensure all edited content follows branding and visual identity guidelines.
• Revise video edits based on feedback from the Team Lead or Marketing team.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

This is a 6-month internship in video editing for our multimedia and creative arts team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in editing video content for the organization's digital platforms, including social media, website, and internal communications.
• Edit simple interview and achievement videos based on provided storyboard or editing guidelines.
• Assemble raw footage into polished videos with appropriate transitions, music, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
• Create social media content in various formats (Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts).

About you
