Job summary

Slash Studios MY in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Video Editor / Graphic Designer to craft engaging content across social media, campaigns and brand storytelling. You’ll edit reels, create graphics, and support motion design for brands in F&B, education, lifestyle, and sustainability while collaborating with our creative and accounts teams.

Hybrid role in Bangsar, RM3000–RM4000 monthly. A portfolio is essential and familiarity with Instagram/TikTok formats is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience; fresh grads with portfolio welcome.
• Portfolio required showing video editing and graphic design work.
• Strong eye for typography and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Edit Reels, short-form videos and social content.
• Create graphics, carousels and digital assets.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, text animation and basic effects.

We’re hiring: Junior Video Editor / Graphic Designer

Slash Studios MY is looking for a creative Junior Video Editor / Graphic Designer to join our team.

You’ll work across social media, digital campaigns and brand content for a range of interesting brands in F&B, education, lifestyle, sustainability and more.

What you’ll do:

• Edit Reels, short-form videos and social content
• Create graphics, carousels and digital assets
• Add motion graphics, transitions, text animation and basic effects
• Support creative development and visual direction
• Adapt content for different platforms and formats
• Occasionally support on-ground shoots and content production
• Work closely with our creative and account teams

What we’re looking for:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience (fresh grads with a strong portfolio are welcome)
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro / CapCut / After Effects / Canva / Photoshop / Illustrator
• Good eye for design, typography, composition and visual storytelling
• Understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current social media formats
• Strong attention to detail
• Someone who is creative, proactive and actually enjoys making things

Location: Bangsar, KL / Hybrid
