Job summary

Transmatic Autobenz Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Video Editor cum Content Creator to join our Putra Perdana, Selangor team. The role focuses on creating and managing digital content for Transmatic Autobenz Nilai, building our online presence and visual identity across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.

You will plan, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content, appear on-camera when required, and collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns for the Nilai branch.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in video editing, content creation, or digital media.
• Confident appearing on camera when required.
• Proficient in video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic shooting.
• Able to shoot using DSLRs/mirrorless cameras and basic lighting equipment.
• Strong storytelling and grasp of social media trends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit engaging content for Transmatic Autobenz Nilai across social platforms.
• Coordinate content production at Putra Perdana and Nilai branches.
• Appear on-camera for promotional, educational, and social media content.
• Add music, captions, motion graphics, transitions, and effects.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and materials for Nilai.
• Maintain organized digital asset library and content calendar.
• Ensure timely delivery and high production quality.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan, create, and produce engaging content primarily for Transmatic Autobenz Nilai across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
• Conduct regular content planning, shooting, and video production at Transmatic Autobenz Nilai, featuring continental car models, automotive services, customer experiences, and workshop activities.
• Appear as an on-camera talent or host whenever required for promotional, educational, and social media content.
• Edit raw footage into high-quality videos that align with the company's brand identity, marketing strategy, and content objectives.
• Add music, captions, motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects to enhance audience engagement.
• Work closely with the management and marketing team to develop creative content ideas, campaigns, and promotional materials specifically for the Nilai branch.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, content strategies, and video editing techniques.
• Coordinate and assist in the planning, recording, and production of podcasts, video series, and other digital content.
• Manage the content production schedule and ensure all content is delivered on time while maintaining high production quality.
• Maintain an organised library of raw footage, edited videos, photographs, and other digital assets.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, content creation, or digital media.
• Confident and comfortable appearing in front of the camera when required.
• Proficient in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
• Experienced in video shooting using DSLR, mirrorless cameras, smartphones, and basic lighting equipment.
• Strong storytelling skills with a good understanding of social media content trends.
• Creative, proactive, and able to generate fresh content ideas independently.
• Willing and able to travel to Transmatic Autobenz Nilai for content production when required.
• Basic knowledge of photography, graphic design, or motion graphics is an added advantage.
• Passionate about cars, especially continental vehicles, is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport is an added advantage.
