Job summary

Shzsan Media is seeking a creative Video Editor to shape engaging video content for social platforms. You will edit for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other campaigns, delivering polished stories on deadline.

Join a collaborative team where you craft pacing, transitions, and subtitles, while managing multiple projects and learning new editing techniques to stay ahead of trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of video editing experience.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
• Experience editing TikTok/Reels is advantageous.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for editing engaging video content for social media, advertisements, campaigns, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms
• Create engaging promotional, branding and social media videos
• Perform video cutting, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music and basic colour correction
• Work closely with the creative and marketing team to develop video concepts
• Organise and manage video footage and project files
• Ensure videos are completed according to deadlines
• Make revisions based on team or client feedback
• Keep up with current social media trends, editing styles and content formats

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is an advantage
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, music and visual presentation
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Creative, responsible and willing to learn
• Experience editing TikTok, Reels and other short-form content is an advantage
