Job summary

EPS Consultants is seeking a skilled video editor for on-site work in Kuala Lumpur. You will edit and deliver videos for social media, ads, and brand campaigns, creating platform-native shorts with compelling hooks and captions.

The role involves longer-form content when needed, plus basic motion graphics and sound design. You will manage end-to-end post-production workflows, add subtitles, and ensure brand-consistent visuals while collaborating with Marketing/Content teams to meet tight

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of video editing experience (agency/in-house).
• Solid fundamentals in storytelling, pacing, transitions, typography, and audio.
• Experience editing short-form social content with strong retention mechanics (first 1-3 seconds, hooks, CTA).
• Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond to feedback efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver videos for social media, performance ads, and brand campaigns across platforms (WeChat, RedNote, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Create platform-native short-form videos with hooks, pacing, captions, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Produce longer-form content when needed (interviews, education, event highlights, tutorials).
• Add subtitles, on-screen text, basic motion graphics, and brand-consistent visuals.
• Manage post-production workflow: ingest, cutting, color correction (basic), audio cleanup (basic), exports, versioning.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Content teams to interpret briefs and deliver on timelines.
• Repurpose existing footage into multiple formats and variants for different audiences and platforms.
• Maintain organized project/file structure and deliver assets ready for publishing.
