Job summary

Cochlear Malaysia is seeking a Verification and Validation Services Engineer to independently verify and validate products and systems before customers. You will design, execute, and improve test methods for hardware, software, and electromechanical systems, analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with technical requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related eng. field with software components.
• 2-4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Understanding of verification & V&V principles, methodologies, and testing practices.
• Experience with hardware-software-electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and maintain verification and validation activities for hardware, software, and electromechanical systems.
• Create and improve test methods, test cases, protocols, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, including formal test execution.
• Analyze results, prepare reports, and provide evidence of performance and compliance.
• Troubleshoot failures and investigate issues across equipment and systems.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Manage V&V deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate testing progress and risks to stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving V&V processes and test automation.
• Maintain lab equipment and QMS documentation.
