REN TAU TRADINGS SDN. BHD. is seeking a compassionate Mobility Van Driver to transport passengers with mobility challenges to medical appointments and activities in Petaling Jaya. You will operate a van equipped with wheelchair lifts, ensuring safety and on-time arrivals.

The role requires a valid Class D licence, good navigation skills, and excellent customer service. You will work six days weekly, with EPF & SOCSO contributions provided.

Competenze

• Valid driving licence (Class D minimum) with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with Petaling Jaya area or willingness to quickly develop this knowledge.

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and safety-minded Mobility Van Driver to provide specialized transportation services for individuals with disabilities, senior citizens, and patients with mobility challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a specialized mobility van equipped with wheelchair lifts and securement mechanisms. Your primary mission is to ensure our passengers are transported to their medical appointments, social activities, and daily destinations safely, comfortably, and strictly on schedule.

Key responsibilities

Passenger Assistance & Safety: Safely assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle using wheelchair ramps, lifts, and specialized mobility devices. Ensure all wheelchairs and occupants are properly secured with safety restraints prior to transit.

Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive defensively and strictly adhere to all local traffic laws and company safety protocols.

Route Planning & Punctuality: Plan and optimize routes using GPS tracking and traffic updates to ensure timely pickups and arrivals while maximizing fuel efficiency.

Compassionate Customer Service: Provide courteous, empathetic, and professional support to passengers, acting as a friendly representative of our organization.

Vehicle Maintenance & Cleanliness: Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking fuel, oil, water, tires, and mechanical function). Keep the interior and exterior of the van clean and sanitized.

Documentation & Logging: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of daily trip sheets, fuel purchases, mileage, and incident reports.

What we're looking for

• Valid driving licence (Class D minimum) with a clean driving record
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with Petaling Jaya and the surrounding areas (or willingness to quickly develop this knowledge)
