Qualifications

• Valid GDL license (van) required.

• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness and safety focus.

About the role

System Care Sdn Bhd is seeking a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our transport and logistics team. This is a full-time position based in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods and services to our customers. Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety guidelines
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to ensure goods reach customers on time and in perfect condition
• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper organisation and securing of items to prevent damage
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation, signatures and mileage logs
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks including fuel, oil, tyres and lights, and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, handling enquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management teams regarding delivery status and any unforeseen delays
• Comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and transportation laws at all times
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable both inside and out to maintain a professional company image
• Manage and upkeep store, check stock balance and update monthly.

What we're looking for

• Valid driving license (GDL) appropriate for operating vans, with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a van driver or similar driving role within the transport and logistics sector
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes in the Kuala Lumpur area
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight delivery schedules
• Physical fitness and ability to perform loading and unloading duties regularly
• Reliable, punctual and with a professional attitude towards work
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining strong team collaboration
• Experience with logistics software or delivery management systems is advantageous
