Job summary

PwC Malaysia’s Deals practice is looking for a driven and analytical Deals Valuations Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to valuation and transaction-related assignments, providing interns with a strong foundation in corporate finance and valuation methodologies.

As part of the Deals team, you will work closely with experienced professionals on real client engagements across a variety of industries, supporting valuation analyses for mergers and acquisitions,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing business and asset valuations for transaction, financial reporting, and strategic purposes.
• Support financial analysis and valuation modelling, including DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions.
• Conduct market, industry, and company research to support valuation assessments.
• Assist in preparing valuation reports, working papers, and client presentations.
• Participate in team discussions and engagement meetings.
• Provide support on ad-hoc analyses and tasks as required by the engagement team.
• Exposure to valuation, financial modelling, or transaction-related coursework or internships will be an added advantage.
