Job summary

PwC Malaysia in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Associate in Valuations within Deals Transaction Services to help clients realise value from mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. You will develop robust valuation advice, forecast analyses, and financial models that support deal value.

You will manage multiple clients, train staff, and strengthen client relationships while enhancing your own and the team's technical acumen.

Qualifications

Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA-CAANZ or CPA Australia.
3–4 years’ work experience in financial modelling development or professional Corporate Finance.
CFA candidate will be advantage.
Strong analytical, leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills.
Strong communication skills in oral and written English.
6 months or more experience in statistical modelling or financial derivatives modelling is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above.
Train and lead staff.
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients.
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
