Job summary

NCS Solutions in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Engineer for PPV and ATE testing support. You will assist in validating PPV programs, updating configurations, and handling data reporting with attention to quality and productivity.

Normal hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with overtime for urgencies. Fresh graduates welcome; 1 year of related experience preferred. Training will cover testing equipment and production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1 year of demonstrated working experience (Fresh graduates are welcome!).
• Basic understanding of electronic and electrical principles.

Responsibilities

• Support PPV testing, Best Known Configuration (BKC) updates, Test Program (TP) validation and execution.
• Perform PPV tester/equipment setup, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support PPV Test Program and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Support RV and FACR logistics (e.g., shipment, ticketing, and basic debug activities).
• Collect, analyze, and prepare PPV test data and reports.
• Support ATE tester and production operations.
• Support CLASS TP/ Nightly YS/ KAPPA VPO submissions.
• Support CLASS TP manufacturing route setup and WP/WTL processes.
• Support CLASS TP release processes to production.
• Manage and support reject validation submissions and compilation (e.g., TTRM, 2TQV).
• Support Failure Analysis (FA) and Low Yield Analysis (LYA) activities.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Basic understanding of electronic and electrical principles.

  • Ohm’s Law and basic circuit concepts, diagrams, and symbols.

  • Basic electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, and diodes.

  • Basic understanding of high-pass and low-pass filters is an advantage.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working with testers, laboratory equipment, and technical systems.

• Detail-oriented with good data collection and reporting skills.

• Able to manage multiple tasks and support daily operational requirements.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
