Job summary

EBARA Precision Machinery Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a full-time service technician in Penang to perform disassembly and cleaning of vacuum pumps, assist in reassembly and testing, and maintain a clean, safe service area. You will follow standard procedures and support documentation.

The role requires at least SPM or equivalent, willingness to learn, and a basic understanding of mechanical components. Male candidates only, with a 13-month bonus and performance bonus, plus medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Experience in a production/service/workshop environment is preferred but not required.
• Able to understand and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Male candidates only.
• Basic understanding of mechanical components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly and cleaning of vacuum pumps and components following standard procedures.
• Support inspection and reporting activities during service jobs.
• Assist in reassembly and functional testing of serviced vacuum pumps.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely (e.g., hand tools, power tools, lifting devices).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area.
• Accurately complete job-related records and documentation.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with leads and managers to meet job turnaround targets.
• Participate in training and upskilling activities as required.
