Job summary

Hershey Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Utilities Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant utility and HVAC systems. You will monitor, inspect, and maintain critical equipment to support manufacturing operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing setting, proficiency with BMS/DCS, and strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. On-site position with competitive rewards and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience performing maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on plant utility and HVAC systems.
Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration equipment (AHUs, FCUs, chilled water, cooling towers, ventilation).
Experience using maintenance tools and measuring instruments (multimeters, gauges, vibration meters, temperature meters).
Familiarity with BMS, DCS platforms, PLC troubleshooting, and CMMS/SAP PM.

Responsibilities

Monitor, operate, and inspect utility and HVAC systems (compressors, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, vents, condensers).
Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, replacement of filters/belts/bearings.
Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, fans, valves, dampers, sensors, actuators, VSDs.
