Job summary

The Hershey Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Utilities Technician to ensure the safe, reliable operation of plant utility and HVAC systems in Kulai. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment to support energy efficiency and reliability.

You will monitor systems via BMS, DCS, and CMMS (SAP PM or similar), maintain accurate records, and collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years' experience maintaining plant utility and HVAC systems.
Knowledge of AHUs, FCUs, chilled water systems, cooling towers and ventilation.
Experience with CMMS/SAP PM and spare parts management.

Responsibilities

Monitor, operate, and inspect utility and HVAC systems including compressors, chillers, cooling towers, hot water systems and packaged units.
Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, inspection, adjustment, and component replacement.
Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, fans, valves, dampers, sensors and VSDs.
Record operating parameters and maintain maintenance records and work orders in SAP PM or CMMS.
Support predictive maintenance, energy management and continuous improvement initiatives.
