Job summary

VIZZIO Technologies in Malaysia is seeking an Unreal Engine Developer to join our expanding team. You will contribute technically and creatively to high-performance applications in the digital twin space, collaborating with world-class customers and partners on diverse projects across smart cities and facilities management.

The role requires 2+ years of professional game development, strong C++ skills, and the ability to prototype and iterate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional game development experience and shipping AAA titles.
• Proficient in C++ for gameplay mechanics and tools.

• Able to work independently with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Implement, debug and support new functionality in applications
• Prototype rapidly while maintaining strong architecture decisions
• Collaborate with modelling and level design teams to create and iterate features
• Contribute to ongoing feature development with other developers
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing projects
• Suggest ideas for production and development across projects

Role Overview

We are on the lookout for Unreal Engine Developers to join our ever growing team. The Unreal Engine development team is responsible for executing and creating high performance applications that pushes the envelope of technology in the digital twin space. As a member of our team, you play a critical role in contributing technically and creatively to a variety of projects in different verticals (eg, smart cities, AEC, security and facilities management), while collaborating with world class customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, debug and support new functionality in applications
• Experiment and use rapid prototyping while ensuring strong architectural and algorithmic decisions are made
• Work closely with the modelling and level design team to create and iterate features
• Collaborating with other developers ongoing feature development
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing projects and applications
• Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the projects production and development
• Work with emerging technologies to create new tools and systems for interactive real-time production

Requirements

• 2+ years experience developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles
• A keen analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills
• C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools
• Well versed in games and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games
• Adept at responding to constructive feedback
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
• Creativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions
