Job summary

OCBC Malaysia seeks a seasoned Collections Leader to oversee secured and unsecured collections teams, ensuring effective recoveries across delinquent portfolios with high professional and customer-care standards.

You will negotiate resolutions, balance outcomes with customer relationships, and coach teams to meet productivity and compliance targets while applying data-driven decisions and credit policy knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong background in collections management with proven experience handling complex and escalated cases.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in managing delinquent accounts within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of credit policies, compliance regulations, and Collections strategies.
• Possess leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on team development.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to drive performance through data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing foreclosure and auction preferred.
