Job summary

PH Uni Palm Sdn Bhd is seeking a turbine and genset operator to manage steam turbine and generator sets, monitor parameters, and ensure safe operation in Malaysia. The role requires shift work and strong safety awareness to handle emergencies and maintain continuous power generation.

The selected candidate will inspect equipment, record logs, coordinate with boiler staff, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and DOSH requirements. Health insurance and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of turbine and power generation system.
• Able to work shift and handle emergency situations.
• Responsible and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam turbine and generator set safely and efficiently
• Monitor turbine parameters such as steam pressure, temperature, vibration, and load
• Synchronize generator with power supply when required
• Monitor electrical load distribution and maintain stable power generation
• Conduct routine inspection of turbine, gearbox, generator, and auxiliaries
• Record operating parameters in logbook
• Report any abnormal noise, vibration, or equipment malfunction
• Assist in startup and shutdown of turbine and genset
• Coordinate with boiler operator for steam supply requirement
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and DOSH requirements
