Job summary

Bangkok Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Treasury back office professional to support account opening, settlement and compliance processes, ensuring accurate capture and authorization of Treasury deals.

You will review correspondence, manage Vostro accounts, verify SWIFT details, and ensure timely processing of confirmations and payments while adhering to Bank Negara Malaysia regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree or minimum a Diploma in Banking/Finance.
• 1–2 years' experience in Treasury back office or settlement.

Responsibilities

• Handle branches account opening and maintenance.
• Check and ensure Treasury deals are captured, authorized and accounted with policy compliance.
• Ensure Treasury deals are performed on a timely basis.
• Annual review of existing Correspondent Banks and the RMA.
• Handle Vostro Account for Bangkok Bank Berhad branches.
• Provide an independent check on Treasury activities for proper authorization.
• Ensure SWIFT details are correct.
• Process inward and outward confirmations of Treasury deals.
• Process receipt and payment of funds including settlements.
• Check deals do not exceed approved limits; report exceptions.
• Adhere to Bank Negara Malaysia and Bank of Thailand regulations; other duties as assigned.
