Job summary

Sunway Group is seeking an experienced treasury professional in Subang Jaya, Malaysia to oversee cash flow, fund balances, borrowings, and capital management. You will execute forex trades to minimize currency exposure and costs, and coordinate with banks and remittance partners.

The role requires 5–8 years in finance/treasury with leadership exposure; strong problem-solving, analytical abilities and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Banking or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance and treasury; team lead experience is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge in treasury operations with ability to propose insightful business recommendations.
• Problem solver with the ability to balance competing priorities, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general activities of treasury functions related to cash flow, fund balances, borrowings and capital management.
• Execute forex exchange trading to limit currency exposure and reduce transaction costs.
• Resolve issues from remittance and treasury operations and implement preventive solutions.
• Liaise with banking and remittance partners.
• Coach and guide subordinates on operational processes, skills and technical know-how.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
