Job summary

Finsmart Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Treasury Operations Specialist to execute and reconcile client settlements, promptly resolving discrepancies.

The role requires a finance-related degree, experience in treasury within brokerage or financial services, and proficiency with online banking systems. Candidates must be willing to standby until 9:30pm twice a week and work on public holidays with applicable pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field.
• Proven experience in treasury operations within a brokerage or financial institution.
• Proficiency in relevant online banking systems/software.
• Must be willing to take turn on duty during Public Holiday/Weekend with double-pay.
• Must be willing to standby until 9:30pm twice a week (OT paid).

Responsibilities

• Execute and reconcile deposit and withdrawal settlements for clients.
• Provide client support by resolving settlement inquiries and discrepancies.
• Conduct daily reconciliations of funds settlements and cash movement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies for funds settlement.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in funds operations.
• Assist in banking relations and communicate with banks about payment issues.

Client Support: Provide excellent client support by resolving funds settlement-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly.

Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliations of funds settlements and cash movement.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to funds settlement operations.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in funds operations.

Banking support : Assist in banking relationship and communicate with bank about payment issue.
