Job summary

Sunway Lagoon Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Assistant - Treasury to support daily cash handling, sales balancing, and financial reporting. The role requires at least 1 year in a related field and basic accounting exposure, with SPM or higher qualifications.

The successful candidate will handle denomination changes, prepare bank deposits, and assist the Finance team in generating daily sales summaries, while working shifts including weekends and public holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess SPM equivalent or higher.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive, independent and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Has strong sense of urgency to complete all tasks given.
• Computer literate
• Possess good analytical skills, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Possess good interpersonal skills while interacting with guests, patrons and employees.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of an amount for the issuance and denomination changes for all departments.
• Verify and collect sales from all departments; balance and prepare for banking.
• Prepare overall sales report and submit to Finance.
• Fill bank-in slip and cash transaction reports; print daily close shift reports.
• Prepare wristbands, tickets, and vouchers for function requests.
• Record stock and usage of manual wristbands for emergencies.
• Record all types of tickets for group functions and tours.
• Ensure skimming is done regularly and monitor variances.
• Perform other duties as requested by Department Head and Finance Manager.
