Job summary

MR.DIY Group (M) Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Transportation Project Manager to lead and coordinate transportation projects from planning through execution.

You will drive TMS implementations, work with vendors, optimize route planning, support DC initiatives, analyze routes for cost savings, and ensure on-time delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or project management.
• Knowledge in TMS or logistics systems will be an added advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate transportation-related projects from planning through successful execution.

• Drive the implementation of new Transportation Management System (TMS) modules, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system rollout, and vendor coordination.

• Work closely with vendors to troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolutions.

• Partner with the Transportation team to optimise delivery route planning and maximise lorry/truck utilisation.

• Support Distribution Centre (DC) projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Analyse transportation routes and costs to identify opportunities for greater operational efficiency and cost savings.

• Track project milestones, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver impactful logistics and transportation solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field.

• Has 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or project management.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Able to work closely with vendors and cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge in TMS or logistics systems will be an added advantage.
