Job summary

SD Guthrie Berhad is seeking a senior Transformation Officer to lead and mentor cross-functional teams across operations, manufacturing and commercialisation. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, designing value-creation programs and aligning priorities with regional and group leaders.

You will drive diagnostics, develop capabilities, and foster collaboration to deliver sustainable value. The ideal candidate has strong stakeholder engagement and experience in large-scale transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Finance-related field.
• 5+ years in management consulting, strategic planning, project management, business analysis, commercial operations, manufacturing operations, or operational excellence roles.
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and coaching peers, with the ability to contribute individually.
• Independent stakeholder management with strong communication across diverse functions and nationalities.
• Proficient in leveraging digital productivity tools for presentations and project management.

Responsibilities

• Support BUs to drive transformation programs and achieve financial targets.
• Collaborate with Regional Heads and BU Heads to set 1-year and 5-year priorities.
• Lead or contribute to transformation activities in operations, manufacturing, and commercialisation.
• Guide junior TO teammates in diagnostics and feasibility assessments.
• Lead cross-functional projects from ideation to implementation with other functions.
• Coach local TO Coordinators and executives in problem solving and value creation.
• Work with Group Transformation leaders to prioritise and implement initiatives.
