Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a Transformation professional in Kuala Lumpur to lead AI-driven process modernization and end-to-end strategic programs. The role requires deconstructing complex problems, mapping future-state operating models using Lean, and delivering rapid automation initiatives to unlock frontline capacity.

You will partner with business heads and dedicated IT squads to ensure execution, track KPIs, and realize value across multi-year transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience in management consulting, banking management programs, or FinTech/tech scale-up teams.
• Demonstrates a T-shaped skillset with deep expertise and broad collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• AI & operational process modernization across the bank.
• Deconstruct complex problems into structured statements and action plans.
• Map end-to-end workflows and design future-state operating models using Lean.
• Identify and deploy rapid AI and automation tools to boost frontline capacity.
• Analyze operational failures to derive systemic insights and scalable remedies.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation initiatives.
• Partner with business unit heads and IT squads to remove execution blocks.
• Define KPIs and monitor value capture across transformation projects.
• Facilitate agile change, executive governance, and committee secretariat tasks.
