Job summary

BDO Malaysia is seeking a Transfer Pricing professional to join our client service team. You will specialize in providing transfer pricing advisory and compliance services, including detailed reviews of intercompany transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

You will prepare TP reports, engage in benchmarking and economic analyses, and collaborate with tax, legal, finance, and business units to enforce transfer pricing policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent and/or a professional accounting qualification
• At least 2 years of working experience with tax and related legislation, ideally in a professional practice
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Mandarin reading would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Prepare transfer pricing reports, local file documentation, and master file submissions for various jurisdictions
• Conduct transfer pricing analysis, benchmarking studies, economic analysis, and documentation of intercompany pricing policies
• Collaborate with tax, legal, finance, and business units to implement transfer pricing policies
• Advise on tax implications of transactions including M&A and restructurings
• Assist in responses to tax audits or queries related to transfer pricing
• Stay updated with local and global transfer pricing regulations and market trends
• Prepare and assist in filing of transfer pricing documents and disclosures
