Job summary

BWC Construction Sdn Bhd in Malaysia’s Perak region is seeking a Traffic Management Officer with at least 3 years of road construction experience to design and manage TMPs. Preference given to those with a CTMO certificate or related traffic management experience.

You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance within work zones. Responsibilities include planning TMPs, overseeing traffic control devices, reporting safety metrics, and developing SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in road construction projects.
• CTMO certificate recognized by CIDB and JKR Malaysia is an added advantage.
• Candidates with Traffic Management related experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Designing the Traffic Management Plan (TMPs).
• Monitor the Placements and Removals of the Traffic Control devices.
• Monitor the Operations on the Traffic Control devices and equipment.
• Maintain the effectiveness of the traffic control plans.
• Analyze the occurrences of road accidents within the work zones.
• Prepare and display the up-to-date TMP for inspection and audit.
• Prepare the 3 monthly Traffic Management Safety Report (TMSR).
• Develop standard operating procedures.
• Prepare and maintain minimum twice per day inspection record.
• Prepare and execute Emergency Response Plan.
