A leading construction company is seeking a Certified Traffic Management Officer with a degree in Civil Engineering to implement and manage traffic plans. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in traffic management, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. This full-time position is based in Kuantan, Malaysia, where the responsibilities include liaising with authorities and conducting traffic audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Traffic Management Plan for the project.
• Conduct periodic audits and respond to complaints.

• Handle emergency situations related to traffic management.

Job description

Responsibilities

To implement and responsible Traffic Management Plan for this project and carry out periodic audit check.

Prepare and update Traffic Management Plan time to time.

Prompt response to complaint’s made by client/consultant or public.

Manage ERT to handle emergency situation may arise either due to execute work activities or public user.

Familiar with Traffic Management Works, Specification for Road Works: Section 19/ATJ 2E_87 Pindaan 2017.

Prepare updates/reports, presentation and attend meetings, as and when required.

Experience liaison with the relevant authorities, consultants, Engineers and contractors to ensure sound implementation of traffic management policy.

To carry out other job assignment as and when required as per management instruction.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Candidate must Certified Traffic Management Officer.

Possess Degree in Civil Engineering other professional qualification are advantages.

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in traffic management field.

Possess good communication skills with analytical and problem-solving approach.
