Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive and commercially driven Product Executive to manage the sourcing, procurement, trading, and supply of building materials. The successful candidate will identify reliable suppliers, negotiate terms, and support project and supply chain requirements.

You will collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure value, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery, while monitoring market trends and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors for building materials.
• Conduct supplier audits, factory visits, and evaluations to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Source and introduce new products to expand the company's building materials portfolio.
• Manage purchasing and trading activities for building materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Ensure cost competitiveness while maintaining profit margins.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product pricing.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new materials, brands, and technologies.
• Provide product recommendations and solutions to project teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
• Resolve supply issues, product quality concerns, and delivery delays.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly.
• Provide technical and commercial support for product selection and specifications.
• Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support value engineering initiatives and product specification activities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
