IC Markets Global is seeking a Trading Operations Officer to manage oneZero Hub configurations, connect to liquidity providers, and deploy new instruments across MT4/MT5 and cTrader. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, real-time problem solving, and end-to-end product testing in a fast-paced forex trading environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in trading operations, systems integration, or platform engineering (Forex/CFD).
• Expert-level familiarity with oneZero, MT4/MT5, cTrader, and FIX protocol.
• Strong understanding of market microstructure, order routing, and liquidity management.
• Proficient with Excel; SQL/Python for automation and data analysis is a plus.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently under time pressure.

Role Overview

We are looking for a systems-driven Trading Operations Officer with deep expertise in oneZero, trading platforms, and connectivity infrastructure to join our high-performance trading team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled candidate who thrives on configuring trading systems, deploying products end-to-end, and ensuring seamless integration across internal and external platforms. The role requires candidates who are passion with sales, have strong relationship management, commercial awareness, communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver value to our business partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Systems & Platform Configuration

• Take full ownership of oneZero Hub and associated bridge configurations (e.g. Order outing, liquidity pools, volume bands, system design).
• Configure and maintain MT4/MT5, cTrader, and other trading platforms to support new product launches and instrument updates.
• Set up and test symbol specifications including trading hours, tick size, commission structures, and swap rates.

- Connectivity & Integration

• Maintain robust real-time connectivity with liquidity providers, prime brokers, and internal systems across FIX, Bridge, and API layers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve latency, disconnection, or routing issues with minimal downtime.
• Work closely with internal development and external vendors on system upgrades, failover testing, and infrastructure resilience.
  

- Product Deployment & Testing

• Lead the deployment of new instruments and trading products across multiple platforms.
• Execute UAT, regression testing, and environment validation for platform or bridge updates.
• Own the release management lifecycle and documentation of platform changes.
  Monitoring & Control
• Proactively monitor trade flow and execution paths to identify anomalies or disruptions.
  
• Build alerting and audit tools to ensure execution quality and system stability.
• Perform post-event investigations to identify systemic issues and recommend permanent fixes.
  

- Data Analysis & Tooling

• Build and enhance internal dashboards and reports to track execution metrics, LP performance, and trade routing decisions.
• Leverage Excel, SQL, or Python for real‑time monitoring, historical analysis, and operational insights.
  

- Cross-functional Collaboration

• Interface closely with the technology, risk, and compliance teams to align trading systems with business and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal users and external partners during product rollouts or incident resolution.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Industry Experience: Minimum two (2) to four (4) years in a trading operations, systems integration, or platform engineering role within a Forex/CFD brokerage.
• Expert‑level familiarity with oneZero, MT4/MT5, cTrader, and FIX protocol.
• Strong understanding of market microstructure, order routing, and liquidity management.
• Proven experience configuring, testing, and maintaining trading platforms and bridge systems.
• Proficient with Excel, and ideally familiar with SQL, Python, or scripting for automation and data analysis.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for release and task management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently under time‑sensitive conditions.
