Job summary

HORIZONTECH INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Welder TIG/MIG to join our Industrial Engineering team in Perai, Penang. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality welded components to exacting standards while maintaining production schedules.

You will read drawings, set up and maintain welding equipment, inspect welds, and collaborate with production to meet deadlines, all while upholding health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on welding experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Current TIG and MIG welding certification or qualification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
• Read blueprints and welding specs to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Prepare equipment and materials; ensure tools are in proper condition.
• Inspect welds for quality and defects; maintain safety standards.
• Keep the work area clean and organised; follow health and safety rules.
• Collaborate with production to meet deadlines and quality goals.
• Maintain welding equipment and document processes.
• Record completed work accurately in logs.
