Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of productions, performances, and events. You will work with artists, technical teams, venue operations, and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and high-standard productions.

The role requires 3–5 years in production management or related fields, strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with office software and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Theatre Production, Stage Management, Event Management, Performing Arts, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production management, live events, performing arts, or theatre operations.
• Strong understanding of stage production, technical operations, and event logistics.
• Excellent project management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple productions and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of theatre productions, concerts, and special events.
• Develop and manage production schedules, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate technical, venue, and production teams throughout pre-production, rehearsals, and live performances.
• Act as the primary liaison between artists, creative teams, technical crews, vendors, and venue stakeholders.
• Oversee production logistics, including equipment, staffing, transportation, and procurement requirements.
• Ensure productions comply with venue policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Monitor production budgets and provide cost control recommendations where necessary.
• Manage and supervise casual crews, stagehands, and production personnel during events.
• Conduct production meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Prepare production reports, schedules, and post-event evaluations.
