Job summary

NOV is seeking an Engineer/Assistant Engineer – Testing in Kulai, Malaysia. The role supports planning, execution, and coordination of product and material testing to meet customer specs and internal standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams and external labs to ensure testing aligns with established procedures. The position emphasizes routine and project-based testing tasks, data compilation, and basic analysis, with opportunities to develop technical skills and grow in testing

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Oil and gas, or closely related field).
• 3-4 years for Diploma holders; 1-2 years for Bachelor degree holders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing schedules and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Assist in executing routine and project-based testing tasks following procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, Logistics, and Engineering teams for testing readiness.
• Support in-house testing activities such as burst, hydrostatic, survival, and material qualification tests.
