Job summary

Penang Skills Development Centre is seeking a Test Line Maintenance Technician to support production line setup, run-throughs and routine maintenance. You will perform handler setup/conversion, troubleshoot issues and ensure electrical/mechanical criteria are met.

You will coordinate with shift technicians, update checklists, and liaise with the manufacturing side for hardware requests. Fresh graduates with a Diploma are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Fresh Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Perform handler setup/conversion with allocated period of time in order product runthrough handler meet the criteria such as mechanical or electrical requirement.
• Repair the equipment failures that impact to quality or mechanical or electrical loss.
• Highlight any abnormality to Supervisor accordingly so that necessary action can be taken.
• Face to face hand shake with incoming shift Tech for any info or pass over.
• Update the setup/conversion checklist prior releasing setup to production used.
• Dealing with manufacturing side for any hardware request matter that is related to thesetup.
• Perform basic troubleshooting whenever there is any report breakdown on the machine.
