Job summary

Micron Technology is offering an Internship Project Outline in Penang for electronics/AI related studies. The intern will work with the Test Engineering team to establish a systematic data collection and qualification process for Module Test testers, with AI-assisted checks and a path toward a final qualification summary.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in electronics, AI, or mechanical engineering, and basic Excel skills; exposure to Python, SQL, Power BI, statistics or ML

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate pursues or has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical/AI related fields.
• Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, data analysis, and structured problem solving is preferred.
• Basic skills in Excel; exposure to Python, SQL, Power BI, statistics or ML is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define required setup and qualification dataset for new/ transferred Module Test testers.
• Capture tester configuration, baseline, calibration, and qualification results.
• Develop a structured data review flow with engineering oversight and approvals.
• Pilot AI-assisted checks to flag incomplete fields, inconsistencies, and anomalies.
• Create a standard daily reporting view and final qualification summary.
