Job summary

Nexperia in Malaysia is seeking an IC test engineer to define and execute robust ATE test strategies for analog/mixed-signal devices. You will design test hardware interfaces, write test programs, debug bring-up, and support yield analysis to improve device performance.

The role requires a Master's in electronic engineering, up to 3 years' experience with ATE testing, and hands-on PCB design experience. On-site collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electronic engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in semiconductor IC testing on ATE.
• Experience designing ATE hardware PCB interfaces.
• Knowledge of test and measurement equipment.
• Hands-on experience with analog testers such as Teradyne ETS-88/ETS-364 or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Create robust and cost effective IC test strategies (platform, hardware, software, instrumentation).
• Design ATE hardware interface boards and write test programs for IC testing and characterization.
• Debug and bring-up ATE test solutions for analog and mixed-signal ICs and bench-correlation.
• Perform parametric tests on ATE with strong defect screening mentality.
• Debug device/setup issues and drive issues to closure independently.
• Analyze silicon results, perform statistical analysis, and support yield/failure analysis.
• Support silicon qualification including qualification hardware development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to device success.

• Debug device and setup related issues and drive the issue to closureindependently

• Analyze silicon results, do statistical analysis, find root cause for yield fall-outs, support failure analysis activities

• Support silicon qualification including qualification hardware development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to devicesuccess

What you will need

• Master's degree in electronic engineering or related field

• 0-3 years of experience in semiconductor IC testing on ATE

• Experience of ATE hardware PCB design

• Knowledge on test and measurement equipment's

• ATE experience on analog testers like Teradyne ETS-88, ETS-364 or other equivalent ATE
