Job summary

ES Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Test Engineer to manage all test activities, including jig and fabrication, ensuring test programs and fixturing are ready for FA and mass production. The role requires troubleshooting, diagram literacy, and training of subordinates in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing setting.

Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in electronics/electrical/manufacturing engineering, 3–5 years in electronics manufacturing, and a good command of English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electronic, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing environments.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 13485 is a plus.
• Compulsory English proficiency.
• 3–5 years in an electronic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all test activities including test jig and fabrication.
• Ensure test program and PI available on time for FA and mass production.
• Perform troubleshooting and sub-level/top-level functional tests.
• Train and motivate subordinates.
• Read and understand circuit diagrams.
• Support and perform tasks instructed by superior.
• Ensure test requirements are clearly stated in production procedures.
• Ensure equipment/fixtures are available and in good condition.
• Perform new material testing and provide reports.

Job description

Responsible for all test activities including test Jig and Fabrication (Test Engineer)

To ensure test program and the PI are available on time for FA and mass Production

To perform troubleshooting and conduct sub-level, and top-level functioning tests on the product

To train and motivate subordinates

Able to read and understand Circuit Diagram

To support and perform the task instructed by his / her superior

To ensure that all the test requirement are clearly spelled out in the procedures to Production

To ensure equipment / fixtures are available and in good condition

To perform new material testing and provide the report

Job Requirement

Diploma / Degree in electronic/electrical / Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience working in Electronic Manufacturing Industries

Knowledge of ISO 9001,ISO 14001 & ISO 13485 will be an advantage

Compulsory English Proficiency.

At least 3 - 5 (Engineer) years experience in an Electronic Manufacturing environment
