Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in tendering, estimation, or design for fire protection or M&E systems.
• Good knowledge of NFPA, UL/FM standards, and Malaysian fire codes.
• Ability to liaise with China Construction companies for technical and commercial clarification.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimations and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
• Prepare tender submissions (technical and commercial).
• Attend meetings for technical and commercial clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, UL/FM, and Malaysian fire protection standards.
• Coordinate with Sales team and handover to Project team upon award.

We are looking for a Tendering & Proposal Engineer to manage the tender and proposal process for fire protection system projects. This role involves analyzing tender documents, preparing cost estimations and Bills of Materials (BOM), coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare detailed cost estimations and Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
• Prepare tender submissions (technical and commercial)
• Attend meetings for technical and commercial clarifications

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related field (Electrical/Building Services)
• Candidates with M&E Quantity Surveying or project experience in fire protection or M&E tendering are encouraged to apply
• 3–5 years’ experience in tendering, estimation, or design for fire protection or M&E systems
• Good knowledge of NFPA, UL/FM standards, and Malaysian fire codes
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and costing/tender software
