Job summary

Taylor’s International School Puchong is seeking a Temporary Teaching Assistant to support our Primary classes, working closely with teachers to assist learning, development, wellbeing and day-to-day classroom activities.

You will help prepare teaching materials, supervise activities and ensure student safety, with duties including attendance at staff briefings and collaborative work with the school team.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPm, STPM, A Level, Pre-U, or equivalent in education/training.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in an international school.
• Caring, patient and responsible with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well as part of a teaching team.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in helping students achieve social, personal and academic goals.
• Assist with daily lessons, classroom routines and activities.
• Observe students and provide additional support in consultation with the class teacher.
• Prepare teaching and learning resources and help display students’ work.
• Support students’ safety, wellbeing and learning throughout the school day.
• Attend staff briefings, training and professional development activities.
• Undertake supervisory duties outside the classroom when required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
• Uphold Taylor’s Education Group core values and perform other duties as assigned.
