Taylor’s International School is looking for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our Primary team on a 3-month temporary contract.
We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire a love of music, build students’ creativity and confidence, and create engaging learning experiences that support their musical and personal development.
Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons that cater to students’ different learning needs and abilities.
Inspire students through a range of musical activities, including singing, instrumental performance, composition, listening, and music appreciation.
Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments in line with the school’s curriculum.
Use technology and creative teaching approaches to enhance students’ learning experiences.
Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Organise and support music performances, assemblies, concerts, and other school events.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and creativity.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support and enhance teaching and learning across the school.
Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular activities and school initiatives.
A Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Master’s Degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience; experience in an international school is an advantage.
Ability to teach vocal and instrumental music across the Primary age range.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
