Job summary

Hexamatics on-site leadership role for Telecommunication Tower Civil Engineering projects in Malaysia. You will supervise workers and subcontractors, organize on-site activities, and ensure safety compliance across all tasks.

Key duties include coordinating materials and equipment, conducting inductions and toolbox talks, inspecting sites, and supporting project managers in planning work programmes while reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunication tower civil engineering and tower installation.
• Ability to communicate, motivate, and discipline the workforce.
• Ability to understand drawings and contract documents.
• Solid understanding of safety procedures; first aid training preferred.
• Knowledge of welfare, environmental and occupational health issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervising workers, subcontractors and work activities.
• Organizing construction works on site and reporting to upper management.
• Preparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Assessing and managing safety hazards.
• Ensuring welfare facilities and site rules are in place.
• Carrying out regular inspections.
• Helping project managers plan the work programme.
• Co-ordinating deliveries of materials, plant and equipment.
• Completing site records and reports.
• Attending site management meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Raising safety concerns and implementing improvements.
• Organizing and overseeing external inspections and emergency first aid if required.
