BDO Malaysia is seeking a Manager of Technology Risk Assurance in Penang. The role leads ITGC and data analytics engagements, guiding engagement teams and delivering high-quality insights for clients.

You will drive innovation in analytics within audit, mentor staff, and manage key client relationships. You will oversee risk assessment, control implementation, and reporting while staying current with regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, IS, or Data Analytics with at least second-class upper.
• Minimum five years in Technology Risk Assurance, internal or external audit, or data analytics.
• CISA certification strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead multiple Technology Risk Assurance engagements from planning to reporting, within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop strategies for ITGC, application controls, and data analytics aligned with client objectives.
• Provide guidance on methodologies, analytics, and emerging technology risks to audit teams and clients.
• Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact for Technology Risk Assurance matters.
• Review workpapers, findings and reports for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop staff, promoting technical skills and teamwork.
• Identify opportunities to enhance risk assurance processes through automation and analytics.
• Keep abreast of regulatory and technology changes to maintain effective practices.
