Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an experienced Technology Audit professional to execute the approved audit plan and lead reviews on high-risk areas. You will evaluate cybersecurity controls, perform data analytics, and guide teams to strengthen the bank's IT risk posture.

The role requires a minimum 8 years in tech audit or IT security, knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in technology audit, IT security, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and various platforms.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and network security practices.
• Experience in cloud security auditing across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with data analytics for audit using tools like ACL/Qlik Sense/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Execute the approved Audit Plan for assigned business and support functions.
• Lead reviewer or team member on higher-risk reviews.
• Evaluate technology and security controls and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop data analytics and perform data analysis to enhance audit coverage.
• Identify emerging technology risks and assess their impact on the bank.
• Manage end-to-end review activities and lead review teams where needed.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members to build audit capability.
• Leverage automation to improve audit processes and efficiency.
