Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an experienced Technology Auditor to execute the approved audit plan for business and support functions. You will act as Lead Reviewer or team member on high-risk reviews, evaluating security controls and recommending corrective actions.

The role focuses on cloud auditing, data analytics, and emerging tech risks. You will manage end-to-end review activities, provide coaching to the team, and leverage automation to improve audit efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and platform exposure (Wintel, Linux, Unix).
• Hands-on virtualization and network security experience.
• Cloud auditing across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
• Mobile security audits for Android and iOS.
• Web app security assessment of web services (Java/JavaScript/HTML/XML).
• Data analytics for audit and risk using ACL, Qlik Sense, Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills and professional judgment.
• Able to articulate solutions to complex technical/audit problems.
• Confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Execute the approved Audit Plan for assigned business and support functions.
• Lead Reviewer or team member on higher-risk reviews.
• Evaluate technology and security controls; recommend corrective actions.
• Develop data analytics and perform analysis to enhance audit coverage.
• Identify emerging tech risks and assess impact on the bank.
• Manage end-to-end reviews; lead review teams.
• Coach and train team members to raise audit capability.
• Leverage automation to improve audit processes and efficiency.
